MK Sound presented two consecutive exhibitions: Sonic Spatiology Vol. 1 (21–28 January at die Anstoß e.V. ßpace) and Vol. 2 (3–10 February at the ZKM Pavilion).
They showcased sound installations and spatial interventions developed over the preceding three semesters. The works emerged from the research-driven programme Sound as a Mediatized Production of Space — Studies, Research, and Strategies in X-Realities, which examined how art, design, and VR innovations shape acoustic perception and immersive environments. Guided by guest professor Dr. Gerriet K. Sharma alongside Dr. Paul Modler and Lorenz Schwarz, the exhibitions offered a collaborative exploration of spatialized sound and perceptual architectures. Together, the two events formed a concentrated presentation of recent experimental work at the intersection of sound, space, and media technology.
