"Beyond Culture – Inside Sonic," held on April 12 in the HfG's large performance studio, was a cross-continental concert born from a two-week collaborative workshop with partner universities in Cape Town and Nottingham, featuring a real-time live-streamed performance between Milestone Studio in Cape Town and the stage in Karlsruhe, presenting contemporary interpretations of the traditional South African bow through student-composed works with electronics, acoustic instruments, and circuitry-based sound.
