Short Bio

Dizu & Friends is a group formed around Dizu Plaatjes for the Inside Sonic concert at HfG Karlsruhe in 2025. For this event, the ensemble performed translocally across Karlsruhe and Cape Town via live stream, bringing together:

Dizu Plaatjes, Lutho Kwaaiman, and Thabisa Dinga in Karlsruhe 

with
Bathandwa Magqaza, Laphakade Myataza, Iviwe Nkopo, Lakheni Ntsodo, and Simphiwe Matle in Cape Town.
