This experimental instrument is a contemporary reinterpretation of the South African bow Uhadi. Reduced to industrial materials such as steel and electronics, it combines acoustic resonance with digital sound generation. A transformed kitchen bowl serves as the resonant body, activated by an exciter and built-in amplifier. The conductive stick functions both as bow and switch, triggering sound when the string is struck. Powered by an STM32 microcontroller, the instrument merges traditional playing gestures with interactive electronic responses, opening new sonic possibilities between heritage and technology.
